In addition it has a fixed black plastic finish head. Thoroughly seasoned hardwood T-Square with fixed head secured with epoxy and metal fasteners. Accurate, durable, smooth finish construction. The tempered aluminum shaft makes this an extremely hard and durable T-Square. It features a silver non-glare surface that resists scratching and photo-anodized calibrations that won''t chip. Head is made of ABS plastic. A lifetime bonded head-to-blade T-Square made of high quality acrylic with black metal strips bonded to each side for additional support. The see-thru plastic edge is raised making it perfect for ink work. Elevated slightly above the surface of the drafting, Spiroliner does not contact the surface of the drawing so smudging occurs. The ruling edge is nick-proof and has a dual brake feature to prevent the parallel rule from sliding down the inclined board surface. Helps eliminate friction! Features elevated plexiglass edges for precision work, and spring loaded rollers that retract to secure the rule in place.
